Triangle Dance Festival for AIDS (TDFA) plans for the Annual TDFA performance held every spring which aims to combine AIDS advocacy through the medium of the performing arts. The goals of Triangle Dance Festival for AIDS is to raise awareness about all issues concerning HIV/AIDS by utilizing the performing arts and to facilitate people’s interest in helping fight HIV. A diverse selection of groups from the UNC/Duke/NC State campuses and all around North Carolina will come together to perform. All proceeds will be donated to selected non-profit HIV/AIDS organizations locally and globally as nominated by our TDFA members or other members in the local community. To conclude the event, a Health Gala is held providing live jazz music in the foyer, donated food from community restaurants and grocery stores, and plenty of opportunities for the Triangle to get involved in the movement towards eradicating HIV/AIDs.
